Hello
Got up early. Backpacks VERY heavy. Sat on a train for 9 hours. Was very hot. Got very tired. Have arrived in Praha. Nice hostel, very comfy. Ate dinner. Still very tired. Going to bed soon.
Will post more tomorrow. Exploring Prague in the morning. When we're not so tired.

I was confused by the 'Hello!' I have to write - will this suffice? Weather here cooler, cloudy, but still muggy. Thames Water flooded the village yesterday - impressive fountain spewing out huge blocks of tarmac in exactly the same place as before (twice)- Chieveley road. Hermitage gridlocked this am with temp. traffic lights - took 45 mins to get out!! Joy! Tilly's just arrived as I write this - telepathy still working.
Strange coincidence - saw Michael today - showed me his brass tag for the first time showing number, name and 'AUSHWITZ'. He does not have a tattoo because he was not a Jew or gypsy. More harrowing tales of life in the camp. I told him you had visited and he said you could not possibly understand, but I asked him is it not important that people still visit and not forget and he agreed. He related so much horror impassively and only became angry when talking about the imigrants coming over here now and not respecting British laws, etc. You really must go and see him when you get back.
Hope you wake up refreshed tomorrow and enjoy Prague.

Final Sunday France v Italy (if you didn't know). Think Italy have probably got it. V lacklustre world cup. Germany v Italy only decent game. C'est la vie.

Was gonna email you a nice big rant (would write one right now, got a good one involving a pigeon, but didn't think it would be suitable for others eyes... now that sounds worse than it should... gonna shut up with this bracket business now as it has gone on for far too long and get to the point... ready... here we go), anyway, my hotmail has gone mad and whoever spams me with the wonderful spams that i get spammed with have somehow managed to get past my spam filter (hate spam) so hotmail, gone mad. enjoying reading your daily messages, very cool, sounds like you are having a very good time, just hope you are being safe and cautious, not just any old cautious, but James cautious if you know what i mean. its the only way to be safe. missing you lots guys, wanted to pop round for tea yesterday. Even intrepid travellers get tired, I suppose. Even so, thanks for blogging in. We appreciate it... Cant wait for the next installment though. So many people have said that Prague is a beautiful city, so we are expecting the 'in depth' reasons for that reputation.
